Hi & welcome, in regard to the Boat Licence the cost is $325, Jet Ski (must firstly hold a boat licence) is $325 and Boat / Jet Ski combined $595.

 

Note: To get a Queensland marine licence, you must:

The online theory is done at home ☕️ & works best using Google Chrome on a laptop/desktop computer -

NOTE - THE ONLINE THEORY CERTIFICATE IS ONLY VALID FOR THREE MONTHS.....

Once you have completed the OLS online theory you will be issued with a Completion Certificate, which you can print out & bring on the day of the practical.

​

The online theory training is valid for 3 months from its completion date.

 

When you have your OLS online Completion Certificate, feel free to book a time for the practical & we go to the Mackay Marina / Mackay Harbour Boat Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday & Sunday mornings by appointment.

 

Please remember to bring a copy of your OLS online Completion Certificate, suitable ID, H2O & sun protection on the day of the practical.

 

Note - We don't have eftpos or card facilities.

 

When you have completed the OLS online theory, attended the practical session (which includes a questionnaire which you must answer 100% correct) & been found competent. 

 

You will be issued with a Statement of Competency

'SOC' for each or both (on the day of the practical).

 

Note - The 'SOC' is not a licence.

 

You must take your 'SOC' to a Queensland Transport & Main Roads Customer Service Centre, within 6 months of the date of issue of the 'SOC', for the issue of your licence/s. The current fee is $123.85 for the Boat licence, $123.85 for the Jet Ski licence, these fee’s & the above pricing may change without notice.
